Chris Walsh, the CW in CW Sales, has been a very lucky man. An almost lifelong musician, he became a teen-aged guitar player in San Francisco’s psychedelic sixties (playing with the London Raiders, The Rubiyat and Mint Tattoo along the way) he wandered back to Los Angeles in 1969. This led to running a nightclub called Thee Experience, eventually leading to managing the Troubadour. Leaving to be a tour manager he was side-tracked by some demo recording sessions. Russ Reagan at 20th Century Records liked the recordings and dubbed Chris a producer. Then an opportunity came to become a staff engineer at Elektra/Asylum. Other studio positions included running Warner Bros Publishing studio in the early eighties and private rooms for Rick Rosas (Bass Player Rick from Joe Walsh & Neil Young) and David Weber (Copperhead).

Then a shift in focus moved him to the Guitar Center in 1990. He ran stores Hollywood, Sherman Oaks and San Bernadino and helmed an early version of GC Pro out of the Hollywood store. From there he moved to Martinsound, introducing their Martech line and helping develop and market their surround products. Then on to a brief (2 year) run as Tannoy’s sales manager. As I said, a very lucky man…

About Us

CW Sales is family business, based in Southern California. Our objectives are fairly simple. Import and promote great sounding gear. Support high quality recording however that opportunity comes. Do business in an upright manner that reflects the life values we embrace. We have a particular focus on clinics in the school environment, aimed at passing recording techniques and lore from the masters who helped create our industry.content is downright null. To more fully clarify the current concept, a few aggregate issues will require addressing to facilitate a distributed communication venue. In integrating non-aligned structures into existing legacy systems, an even more effervescent (bubbly) gateway blueprint in a backward compatible package of tangible and immeasurable strategic value will result in right-sizing the conceptual frameworks, but only when thinking outside the box.
